Help for baby eczema?
My 6 month old has bad eczema all over his body. He scratches at it constantly, and we think he has trouble sleeping because he is so uncomfortable. He wears socks on his hands for the majority of the day because if he doesn’t have them on he’ll scratch until he draws blood. We’ve tried all the creams and nothing seems to work. The doctor says he’ll outgrow it but we need something to stop the itching, we feel sorry for the little guy! Any suggestions will be appreciated!
Aveeno makes an oatmeal bath for really dry skin, eczema is mentioned on the label. It cleans their body too so you don’t have to worry about soap. If you use soap only use Dove. I’ve read to only use water for eczema too. I also use Aveeno’s cream, they have one out for Eczema. I’ve heard of the hydrocoritizone cream but haven’t tried it yet. I also use a humidifier in her room at night because the heat dries them out so bad. The more moister in the air the better.
Keep trying different things I guess. Everyone reacts differently. Good Luck, the poor thing!

I swear by this stuff! Wind Drift Hill Goats Milk Body Butter (unscented). It’s so worth it and it will make him feel so much better…plus it’s TOTALLY natural. I would use the soap too. Also, for a medicinal approach, you could rub him down with cortisone to help the itching.
